Watches, as I'm quickly finding out, are very similar to pens. They come in an array of prices, and you don't need to spend big in order to gain functionality and uniqueness. In fact, just like pens, price doesn't always correlate with quality. And finally, a fine balance between tradition and innovation is what scores well among fans of the genre. WeWOOD strives to do just this. The Italian company has its watches crafted out of wood, and aims to meet the needs of anyone who wants some variety of a hypoallergenic, unique, ecologically-friendly, and stylish watch. As their website and promo materials note, they ostensibly work in partnership with forest conservation companies in order to plant trees as watches are sold. I received a review watch courtesy of their North American operations branch, and am hence releasing it as our first watch review. Enjoy!
