The first documented information about the the Appignano's Potters date back almost 500 years ago. Today Appignano is still the town of the COCCIA' (potters) and still produces traditional hand painted dishes and several rustic furnishings.

Here, where begin to climb the historic potters street, MARICA SABBATINI chose to continue the tradition on the same site where at the end of XVIII century there was an important pottery laboratory.
Marica produces customized typical appignanese potteries: jugs, jars, pine cones, bedwarmers, plates, Brocchetti, but also favors, fountains, large pots, lanterns, columns, dishes, wall coverings, tables, columns, urns, umbrella stands, vases, bottles, pot covers, tea and coffee mugs, candle holders, centerpieces, wall plates, olive door, door scoops, garlic door, onion door, cheese door, napkin holders, towel door, oil door, vinegar door, salt door, pepper door, oval boxes, bowls, soap dish, toothbrush holder, animals, wedding favors, elephants, turtles, postman, pen holders, candle holders and much more.
All products are hand-painted with great skill, each project is unique, tailored to customer requirements. The ceramics and the colors used are of the best quality.
