Okay here’s this week’s GetAtMe Top Ten

• Rihanna’s WORK stayed at num1 (this cut has real staying power…) and Desiigner’s PANDA hit num 2 (these 2 only separated by a decimal point… #Wow)
• Drakes ONE DANCE hit num 3 (this Rihanna/Drake combo has been a monster move…) and num 4 is Bryson Tiller’s EXCHANGE (Tiller is really making moves…)
• Kevin Gates 2 PHONES hits num 5 (KGates is for real…) and Future LOWLIFE is num 6.
• Young Greatness MOOLAH hit num 7 and Beyonce’s FORMATION reemerges at num 8 (remember we handicapped this cut right after the Superbowl 3 months ago…).
• Jeremih’s OUI is num 9 and Dj Luke Nasty MIGHT BE is num 10 (if this song had any itunes sales it would be in the top 5 which lets you know industry push aint enough…).
• Our ON DECK is Kent Jones’ DON’T MIND (this things gonna be a summer smash...) and Yo Gotti’s LAW (this is a strong street cut…).

Okay we had to make another chart just for hip hop because the sales difference between hiphop and hip pop were so varied.  We feel it is of the utmost importance that the djs are aware of what’s selling so that they can better serve their audience (songs that are selling are usually hits…).  So we decided to provide both hiphop and hip pop sales figures.

Rihanna's WORK still stays at the top (of retail and radio…) and Desiigner’s PANDA (this month’s surprise…) came in at num 2 with over 6000 downloads daily (“I thought sales didn’t matter…).  At num 3 is Kevin Gates 2 PHONES (this cut is legitimately strong…) and at num 4 is Jeremih's OUI (also a quiet creeper…).

GetAtMe Urban Radio Top 5 Markets Breakdown.  Rihanna is #1 at 6 of the top 5 market station (that’s a real legit Num1.)

• New York- Like I said Rihanna WORK is num 1 at both station WWPR 105.1 and WQHT 97.1. The Fat Joe and Remy Ma cut ALL THE WAY UP also is trending on both station. (Dj No Problem HEARD OF ME most requested song movement in the market WQHT…)  
• Los Angeles- Drake JUMPMAN is num 1 on KRRL 92.3 and KPLR 105.9 has Travis Scott ANTIDOTE at num 1. (Belly MIGHT BE is the most requested song movement in L.A…._
• Chicago- Yo Gotti DOWN IN THE DM is num 1 on WPWX 92.3 and num 1 at WGCI 107.5 is Drake JUMPMAN (Future LOWLIFE is the most requested at WPWX…).
• Atlanta- Rihanna WORK also took num 1 at  WVEE 103.1,WHTA  9  and  WSTR 94.5 (num 1 at all the Atl stations wow…) The most requested in the market is YUNA ft Usher CRUSH at WVEE (this song had crazy request movement  +169 and that got it in the to num 30…)
• Dallas- Rihanna is num 1 (big surprise) at KKDA 104.5 and at KBFB 97.9 the num 1 is Beyonce FORMATION (this song would be doing huge number on itunes. Why it’s not on there is crazy…).  The most requested movement in the market is K Camp COMFORTABLE on KBFB,
• Jacksonville (our wildcard market) - Tory Lanez SAY IT is num 1 at both WJBT 93.3 and WJGL-F2.  The most request movement in the market is 2 Chainz WATCH OUT at WJBT.

Okay here’s this week’s GetAtMe Urban Radio Scorecard.
• Rihanna’s WORK goes back to num 1 (this is such a solid record and urban radio is getting all its juice…)
• OT Genesis CUT IT came in at num 2 (this one’s moving through the streets but may have missed its sales window. Good song although…)
• Beyonce’s FORMATION dropped to num 3 (great song but choosing to not report sale reports to media base may have been a grave error. Billboard can’t big you up. I don’t know who came up with that crazy idea…)
• Drake’s SUMMER SIXTEEN dropped to num 4. This is a good cut but it seems to be getting lost in this media cycle. It has sales and urban radio impact but the buzz is not the same. (Maybe the Meek bashing cycle is wearing off…)
• Bryson Tillers EXCHANGE stayed at num 5 (just all around good music from this guy…)

Okay here’s this week’s GetAtMe Top Ten.  Our Top Ten is based on radio airplay, itunes sales and online site metrics.  A song has to score well in all 3 three area to rank.  We felt that a combined metric system was the only true way for us to determine our top ten.  We don’t count streaming (we’ll let Billboard do that…) because we feel that streaming is a passive engagement tool online and to us (at getatme) not a viable tool for what we’re doing.  We're not saying it’s wrong, it’s just not one of our tools.  We want djs to have the best information for fan engagement and sales and airplay have worked for all these years and that’s good enough for us (#RealFansBuy).

Rihanna's WORK takes num 1 (big surprise #lsmh).  This song has become a monster #frfr.  As you can see her score was of 46.6 pts (out of a top score of 60 pts).  Rihanna’s sales numbers on itunes is what pushed her so far out front (num 9 on itunes…).  At num 2 is Kevin Gates 2 PHONES.  This cut is so legit and Kevin Gates has really put in the work.  Num 3 is Bryson Tiller's EXCHANGE (great new rnb/hiphop artist…).  Num 4 is O.T. Genesis CUT IT (this was always a street and club smash.  If those itunes sales were more it could go to num1…) and Desiigner PANDA hit num 5 (#ToldYall…) this cut is the kids favorite right now and the kid’s do show up in the online sales department (some rnb/hiphop acts need to take note…).

That Rihanna allowed a fan to sing at her show is no surprise to Rihanna fans. One thing that Rihanna does better than any other artist out there right now is her ability to connect and be one of her fans. I mean she really gets her fans. Whether it’s with her twitter engagement. Commentary rants or just plain being Rihanna. She’s not just a star but she always will be one of her fans.
That’s why it no surprise that she pulled dude up and it also was no surprise that she enjoyed his moment with him (she know how to create memorable moments (#Kodak #IG) that’s for sure…). Rihanna make’s sure that her so called professional handler do not hand cuff her when it comes to her ability to touch and engage with her fans(and that is so commendable…).
Folks here’a a look into the future (I can see this happening…). Rihanna is on her way to the movies and that one great role is just a delivery dude away. Rihanna will cross into TV or movies and she will succeed. Why, because she’s got that shine. You see Rihanna not only has the ‘Marilyn (Monroe) effect’, she is owning and morphing her own ‘it factor’. Just go check out Rihanna photos of her sneaking up on fans and her engagement with her fan base. Rihanna shines because she understands the importance of the memorable fan moment. Terah Jay’s (@TerahJay) life will never be the same. He will be an old man with the memory that Rihanna, a star at her peak, allowed him to have his moment in her shine. He couldn’t have paid for that experience. He will always be a fan and grateful. And for real for real, you can’t buy or teach Rihanna’s impeccable sense of timing and fan empathy. That’s why she’s a star.
