Yo nowadays everyone it seems can be a dj (without any real sense of what it takes to do that…) Djing is a craft, anyone can get in the booth and play records but the capacity to entertain and play new and interesting music and keep the energy on the dance floor is a skill that comes with time.

One thing that’s consistent although is that a dj that doesn’t dance will always have a hard time understanding the connection of the energy between the fans and the music.  There has to be a connection to obtain that energy of the magic that happens on a dancefloor.  It’s that magic that creates a hit and when fans feels the magic of the mix, that creates an experience that fans want over and over again. The only way a dj can feel that magic is to dance with the magic.
