Okay here’s this week’s GetAtMe Urban Airplay Scorecard…

• Usher RIVALS headed the list with 368 spin increases in urban radio plays and is currently at #203 on itunes in single sales (this is a great cut)… #DjAlert
• Lil Uzi Vert U WAS RIGHT This cut was at the num 2 slot and it has no sales in the iTunes top 500 yet (Lil Uzi Vert folks really put in work in the push dept, the kids got this cat trending…)
• PartyNextDoor COME AND SEE ME We were on this cut months ago (we found this one on SoundCloud). Right now it’s at num 177 on itunes.  It made our GetAtMe HotNewHits Top3 at least 4 months ago…( “you can never be late on a hit”)
• DRAM BROCCOLI The DRAM movement is crazy and legit, currently the top selling HipHop cut at num 24 on itunes… (The kids love this track…)
• ChanceTheRapper NO PROBLEM This cut has really just grinded through the streets through online and now is at urban radio #TheyPutInTheWorK. It still hasn’t listed in the itunes 500 but the song is trending. (“If these label N*ggas try to stop me, they gonna be some dread head n*ggas in the lobby…”  That line is hilarious, go on Chance, let em know #Lsmh)

• Usher ‘RIVALS’ went to the top in urban radio spin increases this week (this is a great song #DjAlert on GetAtMe)…
• PartyNextDoor ‘COME AND SEE ME’ was a cut that we was on over 3 months ago (GetAtMe HotNewHit Top 3). It took a moment but this cut came on in (this is really a great song #frfr)
• Sevyn Streeter’s ‘PROLLY’ is a gimme yall (come on its Gucci babyyyy…). This cut is hot (“Prolly…” I’m already hearing the dancers saying this in the clubs as they walk by… #lsmh).  We did a Dj Neek DjSingleMix on this cut that’s for the dance djs (its on our new GetAtMe3PcSnack ft DaddyO on mixdj.com now…)
• This Young M.a. ‘OOOuuu’ is that next Hot N*gga type track (everyone in New York is jumping on this remix. A real hint that a track is a hit is that everyone wants to do a remix cover of the song #ThatsWhereTheViralBegins).  The growth of this cut in the streets and online to the clubs is some real organic sh*t… #ItsInDaMixAtGetAtMe

• The WeekNd ft DaftPunk IM A STARBOY(83.0/100pts grade A) is a strong new cut from The WeekNd scoring 82.0 pts getting an a grade after 2 days out (strong itune sales at over 24,000 downloads at #2 drove their score straight up) This is definitely a DjAlert… #ImmAStarBoy
• Usher RIVALS (70.8/100pts grade B) It’s no secret I like this cut so it’s just up to the Djs and fans if they feel the same.  But for real this cut is strong…. #IDontNeedNoMoreRivals
• Sevyn Streeter ft Gucci Mane PROLLY (69.3/100pts) this cut would have had a higher grade if it had itunes sales (it shot out the box then disappeared. They need to stay on this cut cause it’s the winner.   Urban radio spin increases were over 300 plays this week)… #IDontKnowProlly

Usher’s RIVALS led the way in adds this week in urban radio (check out last week’s GetAtMe DjAlert).  We told you this one was hot and it seems that urban radio agrees.  32 stations in one week definitely means that this cut is on the right track… #HeresAnotherOne

This new Usher ft Future is hot (come on its Usher).  The combination of Future and Usher works (I guess Future is the new Juicy J, “Feature King”… #IfItWorksItWorks).  This is another great groove track and Djs are gonna find it works (especially in the Hookah mixes…).  Here’s the stats: (6-Heat, 5-Hit, 4-Hot, 3-Cool, 2-Maybe,1-Awrite.  Scoring scale…)

• TRACK- 4.7 pts ($$$$.7) This is a great track with a haughtily grinding type groove. The melodic keyboard part really rides on the track… #InTheMix
• PERFOMANCE- 5.3 pts ($$$$$.7) Man Usher rides this track like a melodic drum part (he sounds like a well played keyboard part…). Future is used as an almost background accompaniment (like a Pip… #ItWorks).
• MUSCLE- 3.9 pts ($$$.9) The streets are gonna accept this when they hear it (if it doesn’t get bumped by a hotter cut in the process…). The cable video channels will help this cut greatly.  The mixtapes are gonna use this so the streets will determine the drive on this cut…
• JUICE- 4.0pts ($$$$) The club djs are gonna like this cut (like I said this cut can’t wait to be jukebox and hookah mix drivers…) Urban radio should show up on this one… #WellSee
• SONG- 5.2pts ($$$$.2) This song is a hit so it gonna be on the marketplaces taste for the moment. This is a great track but Usher has been on a couple of great track this year… #WellSee
• HITFACTOR- 4.2pts ($$$$.2) The adding of Future on this track was a gamble (can you imagine Kendrick Or J.Cole on this cut “ooohweee”). Taking nothing from Future but JCole would have taken this cut to whole nuther level with his story telling ability…#FRFR (I might have to do a special mix with a JCole verse on this track just to see…#NowThatsADj)
• TOTAL- 27.3pts/ 36pts Top (grade B) The only reason this cut gets a B is because I’m way early on this and recently it now taking 2 to 6 months for songs to break. So we’re gonna see if this cut will make it into the 4th Qtr sales cycle (it is Sept, the last month in the 3rd Qtr sales cycle so we’ll see…

Man I really enjoyed this mix.  Why?  Because this was a mix that was just done for me to enjoy the mix, period.  Come on who would think that a day would come that Usher and De la Soul would do a song together (a great one at that…).  So just so you’ll know, this mix was just for me to you. 

On these GetAtMe 3PcSnack Extended Blends, we play the whole songs so that you can hear the total cuts.  We thought it was really necessary for you to hear the whole De La Soul ft Usher ‘GREYHOUND’.  Here’s the mix

• De La Soul ft Usher ‘GREYHOUND’- We started out with this new De la Soul ft Usher ‘GREYHOUND’ (man I love this cut…). This cut is a real song and really, this cut is what hip-hop is all about.  The way that De La Soul told the story (in true griot fashion) and how Usher made a very listenable performance as the vocal back drop turned this song into a quick hiphop audio movie… #NowThatsWhatsRealHipHop “Next stop NYC take your seats please…”  They have a lyric in this cut saying “by the time you arrive you’ll forever be changed…” (and anyone who has ever made that journey on a Greyhound bus knows that feeling… #FRFR).  This is a great song and this is what I feel is real HipHop… #AMixtapeMust
• Dj Neek ft SBDaG ‘HEAD HELD HIGH’ (DjSingleMix)- Now on this cut Dj Neek spotlights the battle rapper SBDaG (from the Mobile Ala area).  Anyone who has caught SBDaG on youtube in one of his battles realizes how clever and entertaining this dude is.  We’ll he brings that same clever rhyme style to his music and it really comes through on “HEAD HELD HIGH’.  Dj Neek (an air personality on Columbia’s Hot 103.9/93.9) has decided to do Dj Singles to spotlight artist that she’s feeling their music (  #NowThatsAGreatIdea ) and SBDaG is her debut project.  Can’t wait to hear more.  This cut is hot and I mean it’s really a very inspirational cut.  The BeatMakanixxx put a driving groove to drive the cut, so with the Mix and SBDaG’s performance, we have a great DjSingleMix… #GetItInTheMix
• BeatMakanixxx Minimix ft Ghetto Mafia STRAIGHT FROM DECATUR (a southern hiphop classic) and UGK “PLAYERS ANTHEM’ (another classic)- What can I say but these are 2 classic hiphop joints (these cuts are real stripclub djs must have. These are 2 cuts that no matter where you are when you put them on, the room’s gonna goes “ooh shitttt…).   We put this one on as a special lil joint #4DaDjNU (hope you enjoy it… #LSMH).  It’s amazing that all these years that these cuts still ride just as strong (ForReal ForReal)… #MustHaveHipHopClassics

As I’ve said over and over again.  I love to find hit songs.  So when I saw this cut that was getting crazy request numbers on Atlanta’s V103, I had to see what was up.  1 it was a new artist and 2 Usher was the feature not the artist.  I mean who was this new artist that Usher was the feature?

Yuna is an established Malaysian artist who’s sound fit right in there with what I call the ‘HOOKAH INVASION’.  This is the music that Drake started, that The WeekNd Built and now other artist are following suit like Bryson Tiller (man ya’ll can’t wait to hear DVSN Drake new find on soundcloud, oooh weee…#Hallucinations).  But it’s not like Yuna is a copycat, no all her music sounds like this cut.  A sort of Sade meet’s hiphop (I know Jhene Aiko is going  WTF…).  ‘CRUSH’ ft Usher Is great riding music and the tumblrites are gonna love this cut as much as they have loved The WeekNd, Bryson Tiller or Drake.  Oh there’s the rub, can a female sell to these Tumblrites that are owning online sales right now.  Will they give Yuna the same allegiance that they have given Drake (maybe Drake should’ve been featuring on this cut?  Hmmm…). 

All I know it’s a good cut so check it out…
