GetAtMe3PcSnack SongRatings 4/26 Elle Varner get the top spot with "SeeMeTonight"

GetAtMe3PcSnack SongRatings 4/26 Elle Varner get the top spot with "SeeMeTonight" | GetAtMe | Scoop.it

Last nights show was so laid back with our Ladies night.  We had Keyshia Cole, Elle Varner and Vanjess.  Elle Varner took the top spot with a 15.6 ranking (top rank 20pts).  This is a cool song (the beats is a beast).  Her performance was great (as usual) and the song itself was cool.  The buzz score on this song will be  based on where we can get the song entered into the market.  It wont be a street song, unless it get a strong online buzz (2 pts), the mixtape crowd will be respectful but it will have to prove itself (2pts).  Club jocks will like this song if it get a dance mix with a hot 16 bar intro (2pts) and Radio will take to this cut if the other 3 fall in line (2pts.)  This is a great song but its artsiness may make it hard to enter the 4 corner (street, mixtapes, clubs and radio) in a timely fashion.

We're going into the 2nd month of the second quarter and summer is coming and radio will be looking for songs that are very event oriented and that can help them sell events (be mindful).  This is a great song and we hope Elle Varner's people have developed the entry strategy for this great song  to enter the market..

Vanjess came in second with their indy cut "Killer Lover" 14.0 pts (also a very artsey cut) and Keyshia Cole had a rank of 13.3 pts for her cut "NextTime".
