GetAtMe HipHop Entertainment vs HipHop Edutianment, Is Jaybo making hiphop feel some kind of way...?  | GetAtMe | Scoop.it

You know, to truly have a hiphop hit, the visuals are so important.  Not just a video, but a video that has the ability to not only capture fans attention for the moment (and that real hard in this new world of daily online tabloid fodder… #LookAtMe) but a video that engages not just in conversations, but the right conversation.  The Story Of OJ does just that. Jay Z and the video producers knocked this one out of the park (Spike Lee should be proud…)

The conversation of hiphop and hiphop economics has always been an underlying message in hiphop but is this video about the economics or about the messages that some of today’s hiphop artist are sending out to the fans.  In this environment of HipHop Hunger Games, the mission of the messages in hiphop are getting lost in the” look at me at all cost…” strategies (some might say that Jay Z is doing the same thing with this video and that’s just silly.  This video and song are just plain great hiphop…)

Check out The Story Of OJ and feel free to join in on a real hiphop conversation (now back to what’s happening with Blac Chyna and Rob K…)  “There’s nothing wrong with the record business that a good record can’t cure…”
