Okay here’s our holiday mix and man I was really shocked at how many holiday cuts we had on deck (maybe I just like holiday music… #lsmh) We have a great line up of music and as yall already know I love Pentatonix so we had to have BeatMakanixxx beats under a couple of their cuts (MARY DID YOU KNOW, LIL DRUMMER BOY…) We did a dance version of Heather Headley’s DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR (I’m crazy about Heather’s voice, probably one of the best voice of this generation. Of course we threw in some Donny Hathaway THIS CHRISTMAS and we also found a great cover of THIS CHRISTMAS by Denisia (I love finding these great underdog cuts…) We have Marq Dean’s HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LIL CHRISTMAS and we have the BeatMakanixxx original cut IT’S ALL LOVE ON XMAS DAY (a jazzy deep house groove brought to you from the BeatMakanixxx…). Also we have our Jackson’s holiday medley that we had in the vaults (“Santa Claus is coming to town…”) and our 95 South cut WHAT YOU WANT FOR CHRISTMAS. We wound things up with the holiday classic SILENT NIGHT by the Temptations (I never know this cut was a 6/8 tempo … #WhoKnew) We had to have that on a holiday mix.
