Okay here’s the numbers for this week’s HipPop sales in the itunes top 100.  G Eazy is back at num 1 (wow…) with his new single HIM & I with over 10.000 downloads today.  Here’s the stats:

• Camila Cabello HAVANA fell to num 2 and Taylor Swift has 3 songs charting END GAME num 4, READY FOR IT num 7 and LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO at num 15 (who said people aint buying music no more #smh …)
• NF LET YOU DOWN is making moves and G Eazy has a second charter with NO LIMIT…
• Kendrick Lamar LOVE ( the hottest cut in urban radio) fell to num 17 (sometimes it seems like radio and streaming success equals to diminished sales… #TaylorWasRight )
• Joyner Lucas IM NOT RACIST came in at num 18 (with no radio play, this was all online trending that has driven sales and youtube views thanks to the hiphop blogs…) and Juicy J KAMASUTRA ft Cardi B (that puts her on 3 songs in the top 100…) is on deck (“I wanna f_ck you all night…” #Okay )

Okay here’s this edition of the GetAtMeTopTen Countdown.  Charlie Puth HOW LONG is num 1.  Here’s the list

• At Num 1 is Charlie Puth HOW LONG (this dude is going back to back with great songs…) and our 1st HotNewFeature is Pink REVENGE ft Eminem (Pink and Em made a great duo on this cut…)
• At num 2 is Camila Cabello HAVANA ft Young Thug (I know right…) great cut and Thug did his thing. At num 3 is Asap Ferg PLAIN JANE (this is a cut that moved through the streets to the clubs.  It’s a Dj cut… #FrFr )
• Our 2nd HotNewFeature is Yo Gotti JUICE (this one’s still early but it’s a mover…) and at num 4 is Taylor Swift LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO (a solid dance cut…)
• At num 5 is Post Malone ROCKSTAR (Post Malone also keeps coming with the hits…) and our 3rd HotNewFeature is Marq Dean ILikeDemGirls (Marq is an indie making moves…)
• At num 6 is Dua Lipa NEW RULES (this is a great cut…) and at num 7 is Macklemore GOOD OLD DAYS (was num 1 on the last mix…)
• At num 8 is Blackbear DO RE MI (another great dance cut that’s been bubbling for months…) and our 4th HotNewFeature is Ciara DANCE LIKE WERE MAKING LOVE remix (this always was a great dance cut but the remix ha)s given this cut new life… #DjAlert )
• At num 9 is Chris Brown PILLS & AUTOMOBILES (this is a new Chris Brown… #ItRides ) and at num 10 is Liam Payne STRIP THAT DOWN ft Quavo (this is another HipPop combo that worked…). Our 5th HotNewFeature is Portugal The Man FEEL IT STILL (this is still a strong cut…)

Logic’s new cut ‘18002738255’ is different (frfr…) but for real so is all of logic’s music (but his music is really good … “also frfr”)  Logic is a complex rapper who really approaches hiphop as a craft.  Now although, after last night’s VMA appearance, Logic will now emerge as a new voice of the HIP POP kids (now this is going to be interesting …)  Will Logic continue to be the semi hip hop purist he already is or will he take a seat next to Justin Bieber in the HIP POP realm (“film at eleven…”)  This will be an interesting thing to watch.

Logic does great music (“no doubt...”) and deserves any success that’s coming his way.  His performance on the VMA’s was moving (“a real Tumblr moment…”) and was something that needed to be said (“would the VMA’s given Black Lives Matters this same platform?  Hmmmm … but that’s another blog for later…)  1 800 273 8255 will now become the anthem for all the youth out there that feels disenfranchised, bullied or out of place and that is a great way for hip hop or hip pop to be a tool for their music’s core audience to communicate and receive how they feel on an issue (“a real great connector…”)  congrats to Logic (“who know is #2 on itunes, hmmm maybe this HIP POP thing is not so bad…”)

Well, it's been a moment since I’ve done the HotNewHits post (frankly I just lost interest in the music that was coming out, it was so bad...) You know it seems that the music industry has lost a step since the deemphasis on sales has become a business strategy (like that makes sense in any sales model...) but that for another blog on another day. Here’s this weeks top 3 picks 

• JACK HARLOW ft JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE PARENT TRAP- Being like most dj’s. I went straight to the album cut boy and this one has legs (great energy #InTheMix) Justin Timberlake adds a nice feel. This Jack Harlow album is loaded with the features... Score 60,2 
• JOEL CORRY, DAVID GUETTA & BRYSON TILLER WWYD- Dj Joel Corry is looking for the next hit song and this maybe it. Bryson Tiller delivers with David Guetta. This cut moves the dancefloor... Score 57.6 #DjAlert 
• J PROFET LOVE ME- J Profet is making moves in the HipPop area with this new cut LOVE ME with a BeatMakanixxx djsinglemix. This driving dance cut has a rock/country/dance vibe that all blends together perfectly. This new artist is #OnTheRadar and #InTheMix Score 55.6

• Camila Cabello HAVANA is num 1 (maybe leaving 5th Harmony was the right move for her…) and at num 2 is Eminem WALK ON WATER (this song ft Beyonce…)
• At num 3 is Post Malone ROCKSTAR (this cut would have been num 1 but Camilo & Eminem shot past him. This is a solid cut though…) and at num 4 is Taylor Swift READY FOR IT (Taylor still has the strong buying base…)
• At num 5 is Taylor Swift again with LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO (still selling in spite of the controversy…) and at num 6 is Portugal The Man FEEL IT STILL (these song that are on commercials get that extra boost…)
• At num 7 is Cardi B BODAK YELLOW (and the Cardi B express is still in effect…) and at num 8 is Lil Pump GUCCI GANG (this one showed up out of nowhere/ Strong teen cut…)
• At num 9 is Dua Lipa NEW RULES (this was a GetAtMe spotlight…) and at num 10 is Ty Dolla DARKSIDE (this cut is hot and a surprise. Noone saw this coming from Ty Dolla.  This is a straight mixtape cut…)
