Another tragedy has hit the Atlanta HipHop community. A young performer who was on the rise had suffered a senseless death at the hands of a shooting at an Atlanta studio. Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh has passed.
Bankroll Fresh was right at the crest of doing big things and was an established Atlanta Street and mixtape star. He was on his way. Man he was about to do big things.
When I first heard about this young man it was from a dj friend of mine Dj Koolaid. “Redd this dude’s gonna do big things, he’s the real deal…” Dj Koolaid was right. Now this rising performer has been cut down in the prime of his life with this tragedy. R.I.P. my man.
I never met this young man but from his music one could see that he was on his way to having an impact on the music industry and would become one of its future stars. He was on many features and on all the hit mixtapes in the streets. It’s a shame that his star has been put out over maybe foolishness.
Details have been scarce but one thing is for sure. The end result was someone has lost their son to madness (my heart goes out to the family…). And the Atlanta hiphop community has lost a rising star. All I can do is shake my head and once again ask, “Is it really about hiphop?
R.I.P. Mr. White, the world will miss you Trentavious… AKA BankRollFresh
