You know in today’s market its like some artist have lost a real respect for writing lyrics, Look a creative flow and a banging beat might get you noticed, but the lyrics give you that real hit.  Why, because the right lyrics at the right time become mental nourishment.   

Jeezy’s DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR is really one off those cuts.  Being for real, Jeezy with this 2nd verse may have changed how hip hop and the world viewed Atlanta.  Jeezy and his folks brought a different viewpoint of how you did it in the clubs.  If you had, you had no problem showing that you had it.  Where as some artist was trying to extort club owners by throwing up that they shouted them out in video for free sections and drinks, Jeezy and his folks, really just bought out the bottles.  No flex just They had it.  So when he says they bought 150 bottles, he meant at $200.00 a bottle and these dudes didn’t even feel it. 

There is a certain realness that has to be conveyed in lyrics, and when that happens then the fans can relate to you as an artist and appreciate your experience.  Jeezy DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR,  GerAtMe Lyric Of The Day.  Remember “there’s nothing wrong with the music business that good music can’t cure.”

DJ Drama has a banger.  Jeezy, Yo Gotti & Juicy J bring the heat with street anthem “TurnDownForWhat”(now we using hashtags for title LMAO).  Hashtags aside, this a good song and it should something in these streets.  #HeresTheStats….

THE SONG- 4($$$$) I like this cut but it still will have to fight through the summer glut of music.  This would be a great tour together of maybe 10-20 shows……..

J Cole is a beast.  We all know this.  I was slow to review this because I was gonna wait a moment but after listening, I had to give ya'll this rundown.  Don't let this title fool you, this song is that bombastic.  It's track (the old R&B joint is so hot).  They didn't speed up the sample and it still crushin in this joint.  J Cole continues to knock these track in these track in the neck (they can't breath he chokes them so bad).  He murders a track.  It's hard to listen to other rappers after J Cole because he is on another level.  And to team up with Jeezy (My God), are these two the new OutKast.  These two have got to do a whole album together (for real).  We I guess you know #ItsAHit

No matter what anyone feels about Jeezy, one things for sure.  When this guy hears a great song, he delivers a great song.  "Knob Broke" has all the elements that all Jeezy hits have. They're timely, mekodic and impactive.  Jeezy songs deliver the moment

*The track-  5($$$$$)  This track is beast.  As in all Jeezy tracks, they're all very cinematic and it's almost like while you're listening you're right there in a scene from the Wire and you and Avon are riding through the trap( hold up, I got caught up LMBO) you get the idea.

*The Performance- 5($$$$$)  Jeezy will be Jeezy and this is definately a Jeezzy track.

* Muscle- 4($$$$) The muscle will be behind this cut but the streets will deliver this track on it's own.  the streets love this track.

* Juice-  4($$$$$)  Now Jeezy has the Juice to do anything he wants with a song. Radio, clubs and the streets are always in a I can't wait mode when it comes to Jeezy.

* Timing- 3($$$)  Jeezy  is just crusing along right now and this cut is like a backend to help drive the album.  You really want a song this strong to drive album sales.

* The Song- 4($$$$)   This is a great song. it has great energy and great movement.  It's a chant that easily get's the crowed up.
