Man, the world lost a big man today.  We lost my best friend Victor Martin.  I cannot express the sadness of what I’m feeling now because, this Corona thing has a totally different effect when it happens to someone who so many people loved and cared about.  Victor Martin (this gentle giant...) was a big man for everyone (he always gave more than he took... #His Motto ) 

Victor was the best friend anyone could have (all of his friend would testify to that...).  Vic would always be trying to inspire folks to look to their higher self (a trait I really admired although I never really told you or let you know that...)  That was just Vic. 

I’ll miss my friend because Vic was a friend that made any other person be a better friend (and he meant that...)  Vic had such an open and introspective heart to others that it was almost hard to walk in his shadows, (Vic was a big man so that shadow was large...)  Vic always said to me, man with size comes responsibility.  I had to come to learn that he didn’t just mean physically, but overall, in life.  He meant that the bigger you are means that the bigger you have to be to others and to make sure everyone’s world was better, not just yours (Vic was a real man like that...) 

I will miss my friend (I cannot express to ya’ll how much...) but what I can say is that my friend lived and experienced a value life full of unbelievably great moments with his friends and family (Vic probably should have coined that phrase because he really lived that way in life.  It was about his friends and family...). 

I write this with a sad heart but I am honored to have experienced a multitude of colorful personalities and character that I have called my friends.  Victor was the biggest of those personalities in character, honor and love.  I will miss you only in the moments that I cannot share a laugh or a smile (or betting info... #lsmh) with you, because I truly believe that dude you will always be around looking over us as you have done in life.  It was my honor to be your friend and man thank you for your time, patience and lessons that you have left with me that have had such a massive impact on my life and well being.   

I truly will be looking for you at the cross roads (just like I looked for you when you were getting me in Magic City...)  Man, I'm gonna miss this dude’s essence, commitment and sense of honor to his family and friends.  Victor Martin, the world lost a big man today, not just in size, but in character and honor.  My brother forever. (to infinity and beyond...)
