Imma tell you right now, I love this cut (but yall already know what a proponent I am for djsinglemix, so that’ no surprise…) I started this section so as I could give deserving indie cuts a profile without their low iTunes numbers affecting them or my charts (get your numbers up folks…) At the end of the day sales is the bottomline, not just market positioning. So we started this segment for just these type of cuts… #enjoy

- PERFORMANCE - 3.3 pts This is a dj cut so it’ss filled with breaks and samples… (for the djs…)
- ENERGY - 4.3 pts what really drives this cut is the driving beat… (In the mix…)
- SONG/CONTENT – 3.3 pts Like I said this is just a fun song. The alien premise is hot…(“people of earth surrender…”)
- INTRO/BREAKS – 3.3 pts There are constant breaks that are hot in this and the lead in works…
- MIXFACTOR – 3.7 pts This song mixes well because there are so many mix points. This song loses no energy in the breaks…
- HITFACTOR – 2.6 pts This is clearly a dj cut and it’s just starting the muscle phase (product push…), so juice (demand pull is a ways down the road. The right video could viral this one out…
- TOTAL – 24,4 pts Grade C+ (which is a great score for an indie…) If the djs like this cut then they will make it a genre hit. If Lompyt wants to make this cut work, a Pentatonix performance on this cut would do it (they would be a strong tribe…
