On this week’s GetAtMe3PcSnack we feature 3 new songs that are hot and #InTheMix.  Each week we pick 3 new songs that are hot and new to us here at getatme. 

• At number 1 this week is J Cole PRIDE IS THE DEVIL ft Lil Baby (this is another J Cole classic) At this point we’re used to J Cole doing great songs (we expect it...).  In a time when great hooks and narratives seem to be a thing of the past in these new hiphop songs, J Cole always delivers on a thoughtful and well put together track (here’s another one...)  The Lil Baby as a feature is a timely and pleasant surprise as Lil Baby continues to stretch himself as an artist (this is a great feature for him...)  Lil Baby has to be the most over achieving underdog in hiphop.  Noone (except P Thomas...) would have ever dreamed that this dude would be here right now.  This song score rated 109.2 and a grade of A+.  Urban radio probably will be slow on this cut (they shouldn’t be... #ItsAboutTheMoney ) but this cut is a solid cut for all day parts in urban radio and should get spins.  This ones a winner. 
• At number 2 this weeks is DMX WALKING IN THE RAIN ft Nas (man if you love the classic DMX then this is the cut for you...)  This cut is that DMX that has you riding in your car reflecting on your life and ways.  DMX was so inspiring as a HipHop minister sharing with his fan's insights on growth and personal stories with his battles with his demons.  To me DMX gave messages like no other hiphop artist and he will be truly missed.  This song score rated 100.8 and a grade of A+.  This is another cut that should get some Urban radio (even if it’s just some post humous respect, but once again... #ItsAboutTheMoney  It already seems like the industry folks are pushing BATH SALTS, but this is the cut #FRFR )  Put your earbuds in and rock this cut while you work out.  You won’t be mad. 
• At number 3 is another great new cut from DMX with a very interesting collab and feature with Bono (man if X was still alive this cut would have been huge with him and Bono performing this cut live... #NoDoubt )  DMX SKYSCRAPERS ft Bono is straight “slapping”.  The energy on this cut is crazy (with a great breakbeat intro... #DjAlert) and is the right blend of Hiphop/Rock/Pop that comes together as refreshing and motivating as a cut about “the skys the limits...”  This cuts score rated a 93.6 with a grade of A.  No doubt X will be missed but songs like this with Bono will carry his name forever.

This week on GetAtMe HotNewHits, the scores came out sort of crazy.  The new Chris Brown Young Thug GO CRAZY, is a smoker but Jack Harlow’s WHAT’S POPPIN is making major moves.  Here’s the stats: 

• Jack Harlow’s WHAT’S POPPIN is a crazy cut that making its way to the top.  This is the one time that you can really see the difference in that suburb cash vs the street cash.  The kids from the suburb’s are really on this cut #frfr (score 41 pts out of 100) 
• Chris Brown & Young Thug GO CRAZY is probably the industry’s choice but the buyers are saying something else.  This is a great song all the way around but at the end of the day the sales have to be there... (score 37.4 pts) 
• Run The Jewels JU$T is a great cut by Killer Mike & El-P (RunTheJewels) and another cut that may be liked buy the buyers, streamed buy the buyers but not will be purchased.  This cut  JU$T is being driven by the current events in the news with the protest.  It will be funny to see how Urban radio reacts to this cut.  This cut will be an online favorite and hopefully fans will buy it also, we’ll see.  (score 37 pts)

It’s been a while since I’ve done a GetAtMe HotNewHits, but I really felt it was time again.  The landscape of the music scene has changed so much that HipHop and Pop are constantly merging on a day today basis. That’s why it’d easier for me to label this new music genre HipPop.  The songs we have this week are a true definition this new genre. 

• We start out this week with Alesso ft Liam Payne MIDNIGHT (I just don’t get why HipHop dj’s don’t that the dj/singer combination works, it’s crazy...)  these two have come together to put together a nice sultry hit titled MIDNIGHT...SCORE 24.5 
• Next, we have the new Drake Joint TOOSIE SLIDE.  Drake find another trendy cut that keeps him at the top taking this Tik Tok dance and combining it with a quarantine video (well it worked...) SCORE 23.6 
• Our 3rd song is a cut a new group Young T & Bugsey (and they have a hit...)  This cut combines a dancehall feel with a trap groove that makes this pocket really work on the dance floor... SCORE 23.2

Here this week’s GetAtMe HotNewHits (the best new music picks from GetAtMe.  Here’s the Stats: 

• Chris Brown’s new cut GO CRAZY ft Young Thug is a cut slowly on the come up.  The Young Thug/Chris Brown combo works on all levels (Thug sounds good on a pop cut... #frfr )  This cut is making moves with 22.80 PTS 
• Megan The Stallion’s GIRLS IN THE HOOD came in at #2 with 22.45 pts.  The Megan momentum train is still rolling... #GirlsInTheHood 
• At number 3 is BeatKing LEAVE NOW with a score of 21.20 pts.  BeatKing got a great boost over the weekend with the Claudio Conway Tik Tok video (the number were crazy as this video viraled out as one of The White House staff members teen daughter twerked to LEAVE THEM.  They could not have bought that type of engagement...)  The song was already hot as an underground cut so let's see what happens now...
