Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich (pictured) and Alisher Usmanov, who has ties with Everton, were named by Navalny as being on a list of those who should be targeted by Western governments in a bid to curb human-rights abuses by the regime of Vladimir Putin.

Annual accounts see turnover of over £120m but post-tax loss of £24.3m
John Beech's insight:

The Liverpool Echo's headline is just plain wrong - a debt of £80m remains.  The good news is that it is now 'soft' debt, but, if Moshiri's circumstances change, he would be entitled to pursue recovery of the debt.

Damaged image. Spanish taxman chases Ancelotti for unpaid €1m on hidden income | Football Finance | Scoop.it

June 23 – Spain’s crackdown on tax evasion in football has snared yet another alleged culprit – Everton’s much-travelled manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The charge once again relates to tax due for image rights earnings, this time during the Italian’s time as Real Madrid boss in 2014-15 when, according to prosecutors, he failed to pay €1 million in taxes.
The Madrid Community Prosecutor’s office claims that tax declarations presented by Ancelotti concealed some of his income and that this had been done “with the intention of unreasonably evading his obligations to the public treasury”.
