Differentiation is important and expected in every classroom. This is a great way of depicting it. 

I'm really proud to be in a learning community where these "in" ideas are welcomed with creativity!

I also think there is no limit to using technology in the classroom. I think every student learns differently and integrating technology in the classroom can help students find new means of studying that works well for them. I agree that teaching students to test them all the the same level is not the way to go about it. I think that it is "destroying our youth" and causing them to be high anxiety. 

Owning the experience of discovery, especially as it pertains to learning about a situation or topic, results in a deeper understanding of the situation. 

Leaning towards the digital age is very important for education, because students have recently begun to center their lives around such devices like iPads, computers, and phones. This article explains the slow advances towards the use of computers and other devices that not only make our lives easier through communication, but can also do so very well through education.

Many times when we learn we use many tools. They may be our minds or they may be outside objects. This is how we put them together and use it for the better. 

Freeman says he’s started using such techniques even in large classes. “My introductory biology course has gotten up to 700 students,” he says. “For the ultimate class session—I don’t say lecture—I’m showing PowerPoint slides, but everything is a question and I use clickers and random calling. Somebody droning on for 15 minutes at a time and then doing cookbook labs isn’t interesting.” Freeman estimates that scaling up such active learning approaches could enable success for tens of thousands of students who might otherwise drop or fail STEM courses.

Flipped learning advantages

The Flipped Classroom approach is been widely implemented in schools and colleges around the world. It is even considered as one of the greatest achievements of 21st century education.

The concept behind it is to reverse the traditional classroom practices with the aid of technology. Students access the already prepared lecture materials at home, in advance of the class and in the class they engage in structured class activities to work through problems with their teachers’ help, further their knowledge and learn through collaboration with fellow students. For the Flipped model to be successful, teachers before its implementation need to assess whether it is appropriate for their curriculum and students. They need to see if their students will be receptive to the new learning environment and upon implementation and use, teachers should employ effective practices to keep the model functioning successfully.

Collaboration can be both a formal structure for learning activity but also an underpinning framework for engagement and fostering life-long learning.  Learning networks are part the new learning ecosystem and should be recognised and supported.
