Quick test I did of a flash app compiled via Adobe AIR 3.3 to an iOS app displaying a beautiful 3D model of a car rendered with Away3D 4.0.

One of the cool new features introduced in the recent Flash Player 11.2 release is the ability to lock the mouse when in fullscreen mode. What this allows is a sort of ‘infinite scroll’ effect where the mouse movement directly controls the application, rather than having to rely on the mouse cursor position.

I don’t know about you but I love the new Apache Flex logo. And when I saw it I couldn’t help but see that the shape was similar to a mathematical Rose. So of course I spent way, WAY, too much time futzing around with values until I could create a rough representation using Away3D 4.0.
