Integrity-doing the right thing when no one is looking. This is my basic definition of integrity and integrity is the building material of leadership. Over the last few days I've come across several articles and discussions about "soft skills", emotional intelligence, and authentic leadership. An enabler of everyday leadership is one's authentic intuition or gut instincts. These are very important, but they are enhanced through experience, empathy, and communication with others. In this article, the author describes 5 gut instincts we shouldn't ignore. I agree that these are important alerts or sensors for our proactive and reactive responses to life's situations.
