Remember the Internet Underground Music Archive, also known as IUMA? The site pioneered independent music distribution online, offering bands hosting space for their songs as early as 1993.

Quoting from the article: “Oh, you are in for a treat and a hell of a lot of modern musical history just got saved. This is over 25,000 bands and artists, and over 680,000 tracks of music.
