This is just one example of many featured in this second episode of Infinite Thinking Machine, a Web TV show for teachers produced by Computer Using Educators (CUE), which shows how to use students’ mobile devices in school. Examples like quick class polling to gauge student understanding using Poll Everywhere, Text the Mob and Wiffitti; creating instructional videos on sites like Educreations.

Immediately, all people alive these days will fall into one of two categories: knowing only a life with the presence of the mobile technology, and those who can still remember the analog days of phone books and newspapers printed on actual paper...The study found that Digital Natives switch their attention between media platforms (i.e. TVs, magazines, tablets, smartphones or channels within platforms) 27 times per hour, about every other minute."

Infographics are a visually appealing way for viewers to see content in a graphically appealing way. Not only does this infographic allow for a clear visual recognition of information to be present but it also hold great content towards emerging technology that can/is used in education. This particular graphic explores 6 different forms of educational technology and their expected growth and use in education as well as different examples of uses of them and projected uses.
