How much food do Amerians waste each day, month or year? The answer is way more than we thought. Here is some information that could make a great lesson this year. The National Resource Defense Council issed this research this year...and it turns out we have "a whole lot of leftovers."
Why? Perhaps because of the "inefficiencies in the supply chain. As food moves from farm to fork (and then to the landfill) there are inefficiencies at many points."
