I would be interested in reading this entire masters thesis about the power of Twitter. The social media platform affords for a sense of anonymity and collaborative effort that is deeply personal. A PLN is a network of want and desire to improve pedagogy- not a required (and sometimes useless) PD or forced PLC. With Twitter, learning and sharing becomes accessible and instantaneous.
