Cada aplicación de videoconferencia tiene sus peculiaridades. En el caso de Twitcam, aunque estamos hablando de una conferencia unidireccional en lo referido a la transmisión de vídeo tiene la particularidad de la interacción en tiempo real a través de twitter, que unido al uso de un hashtag puede permitir la grabación de clases con interacción entre el conferenciante y los participantes, entrevistas o similares. Servicio gratuito y sin publicidad.

El tan citado Manifiesto Cluetrain nos anuncia algo que hoy parece una gran novedad: los mercados son conversaciones. Esto es en realidad una verdad que lleva siglos siendo practicada en el ámbito del conocimiento.
Conocer, al fin y al cabo, es poner sobre la mesa del diálogo un descubrimiento para que otros lo comenten y los pongan a prueba. El diálogo es algo inherente al desarrollo del conocimiento humano. La diferencia radica en que gracias a herramientas como Twitter tenemos una conversación cada vez más rápida y las respuestas se multiplican haciendo necesario el filtro del que ya hemos hablado...."

Having SM apps is all well and good but how we behave in our SM circles is what concerns me as a pedagogue! This blog provides not only the affordances of the 'Twitter' apps but their potential for teaching and learning which can be explored from this site. I would still ask more questions before use with students - but that's me!

First it's important to mention Twitter is easy to incorporate as a learning tool. In fact the hardest part was going through and getting faculty approval. It’s been a while since SocialTimes did a round-up of the various tools that helped users manage their Twitter accounts by finding who to follow, following new people, unfollowing many people at once and organizing groups of users they follow into lists. Since our last round-up, Twitter has restricted use of its API significantly, causing several tools to shut down. No longer functional areUntweeps, Just Unfollow, Twit Cleaner, Who Follows Whom and Tweet Effect. Tweeter Karma is still functional but has had to remove its bulk unfollow tools. Oh, yes ManageFlitter is included in the list! I love that tool, I am even paying for the pro version. It's that good. All the other tools are great! Shared to Pinterest, G+, and Stumbleupon.
