While you work with your application, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) can record your actions, comments, screenshots and other data. The recording makes it easy to reproduce bugs. And you can quickly play back your tests whenever the application is updated.

Utilisez Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) pour vous aider à tester l'application que vous avez générée. MTM stocke vos plans de test et résultats dans Team Foundation Server (TFS).

Dois-je utiliser Microsoft Test Manager ou Team Web Access ?

Si vous n'avez pas besoin de toutes les fonctionnalités de Microsoft Test Manager, vous pouvez utiliser Team Web Access pour planifier et exécuter vos tests.

Team Web Access vous permet de créer des cas de test et de les organiser en plans de test et en suites de tests. Quand vous effectuez un test, Team Web Access affiche les étapes du test et vous permet de marquer les étapes ayant réussi ou échoué.

En outre, Microsoft Test Manager peut enregistrer vos actions, des captures d'écran, les fichiers journaux IntelliTrace et d'autres données de diagnostic. Il vous permet également de gérer des environnements lab.

Vous n'êtes cependant pas obligé de décider à l'avance : vous pouvez toujours utiliser l'un ou l'autre outil pour modifier vos plans de test ou pour exécuter vos tests.
