La cérémonie 3 amigos ⋆ JEDI SQUAD ⋆ JediSquad Stories | Devops for Growth | Scoop.it

Etc.

What are the Three Amigos in Agile?

What are the Three Amigos in Agile? | Devops for Growth | Scoop.it
Three amigos refers to the primary perspectives to examine an increment of work before, during, and after development.
Mickael Ruau's insight:

Those perspectives are:

  • Business – What problem are we trying to solve?
  • Development – How might we build a solution to solve that problem?
  • Testing – What about this, what could possibly happen?

People holding these different perspectives should collaborate to define what to do, and agree on how they know when it is done correctly.  The end result of such a collaboration results in a clearer description of an increment of work often in the form of examples, leading to a shared understanding for the team.

Hypothesis-driven development: Run playbacks to gather feedback - IBM Garage Practices

Hypothesis-driven development: Run playbacks to gather feedback - IBM Garage Practices | Devops for Growth | Scoop.it
Playbacks are meetings that are used to keep stakeholders, clients, and teams in sync. Playbacks occur at different points during a project:

Persona and scenario definition

Minimum viable product (MVP) definition, including the user experience

Development delivery of completed stories

The value of playbacks

Playbacks help ensure that the team is aligned on the personas that will use the service and the scenarios to include to satisfy the MVP.
Playbacks in practice

Effective playbacks incorporate these practices:

Being concise

Scheduling enough time to listen to stakeholder feedback

Focusing on the value of the scenario rather than the technical implementation details

MVP definition

When playbacks are part of the MVP definition, the goal is to align the entire team around the scenarios that are part of the MVP and the user interface to achieve those goals.
