Presenting a completely clear crystal ball of each student’s future at a particular institution, would of course not be possible, because it also depends on the commitments that the student makes. Informing students in advance what they can expect and doing this according to certain standards indeed reflects an awareness of the trend that students are consumers/the customers of a particular institution.
