'There are a lot of interesting things that Internet-and-smartphone-based communication have done to language, from the ubiquitous and polarizing text-speak to tons of ways to learn new languages online. But will the connected age help us move beyond language as we know it? Some people think that emoji could revolutionize how we communicate. Let's take a look ..."
I dont think that emojis are different in other languages because emojis are universal . They are the same on evey cell phone they might just symbolize something different.
WOW. I love emojis, I use them daily, from texting to snapchat to twitter. I often use emojis to show how I really feel about things, because when I text, I can't show my emotions or facial expressions without describing them. Emojis show what we are trying to say, and to say that emojis are transcending language barriers is true. I could send an emoji of heart eyes to someone in Germany, and they probably know that that means something or they're hot or attractive. A picture speaks a thousand words, I think an emoji speaks for a hundred.
