Worst Marketing Contest Idea Ever
There is controversial GOOD and controversial BAD. This pubic shaving contest from Schick is BAD. Cracked is right this is the worst marketing idea ever because:
* Its horrible treatment of women (an important demographic one would think).
* Its utter classlessness.
* The damage it will do to the brand.
I understand being Schick isn't easy. Gillette is kicking your butt and you are tempted to disrupt to win. There is disruption and then there is BAD TASTE. This, the worst contest idea I've ever seen, is BAD TASTE.
Lessons to be learned here for all Internet marketers. When you are in THIS meeting be sure to have someone who isn't part of the cult, someone who can tell you to STOP and THINK.
