The 10 Most Beautiful Mobile Games

The 10 Most Beautiful Mobile Games | Must Play | Scoop.it
Great graphics don't necessarily make a beautiful mobile game. Check out these 10 games that focus on more than reality.

Martin (Marty) Smith's insight:

Breaking my rule about big sites again and doing so on design again. Mobile games are BLOWING UP thanks to the ubiquitous smartphone that rarely wanders more than 10 feet from our every waking moment. Our Curagami co-founder Phil Buckley blames smartphones for the death of free time.

An easy to observe phenomenon. Look at any queue these days and count the number of people head down and staring at their phone. They are probably staring at one of these 10 most beautiful games via Mashable.

Social Media As Means To Gamification End: Credit Cards Go Social [Infographic] | Social Media Today

Social Media As Means To Gamification End: Credit Cards Go Social [Infographic] | Social Media Today | Must Play | Scoop.it
There is obviously a thrill behind someone giving you a card with “free money” on it to buy whatever your heart desires. However, as appealing as having money on a card to spend on your needs and wants is, there are consequences.
Martin (Marty) Smith's insight:

Social Media As Means To Gamification End
Credit Card companies, far from being dealt fatal blows by the death of money, are stronger than ever. They may face some interesting competition from Bitcoin at some point, but that point isn't today.

Today Credit Card Companies are jumping into social with both feet. Social for some is a means unto itself. Social Media marketing for Credit Card companies is a means to an end.

Social media gets Credit Card companies living in the same place as their prey - college students. College students live on their phones, love to play games and may be the last tribe of pack animals on the planet.

No wonder, as this infographic shows, Credit Card companies are embracing social so earnestly you can almost see the glint of greed in their eye.
