2013 is 3 days old and already we have the hype predictions for 2014. Don't you just love optimisitic market forecasts that keep pushing the evaluation year out into the future? Gartner report that enterprise software spending is set to rise in 2013 and 2014. I wonder how many start ups will misguidely blindly report the numbers that Gartner predicts for the enterprise market and big data growth rather than working out the numbers bottom up from target customers..
