Glasgow, Scotland (TDN) Dominican athletes continue to perform creditably at the 2014 Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow, Scotland with two athletes making it through to the finals of their respective disciplines. University of Maryland junior Thea LaFond advanced to the Women’s Triple Jump Final with a season best of 13.15 meters and Dillon Simon of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore going through to the finals in the shot put.
