Climate change is raising the risk of blazes that are started by power lines and other utility equipment in many parts of the U.S. besides California.

Considering how most fires are caused by human interaction with the environment, this doesn't surprise me too much. I have a strong belief these fires are caused by above ground utilities and not ones placed underground. It would be wise to overhaul some older power and utility systems and place them underground.
