This is heartbreaking. This aquarium has been doing some of the best work for our oceans and is a great educator of the general public without the damaging results of ecotourism.

The aquarium is an educational center for a large amount of people to learn about the diversity of marine organisms in the world. The care for these animals provided by the aquarium allows people to gain an intimate understanding of how they function. Also, it is disappointing to learn about these cutbacks to their programs at a time when they are increasingly necessary.
