Its so unfortunate that although the pandemic might be allowing for cleaner air quality in many places, this is a downfall to it. I've been seeing masks scattered around the ground everywhere and plastic gloves in parking lots so although this is unfortunate, I'm not surprised they are ending up in the ocean. Wish people would be more caring and educated on properly disposing their waste.

I found it interesting how the world went from being hopeful towards making a dent in our pollution levels and now our ocean plastic pollution levels are rising. Even if populations around the globe were to use multi-use plastics there is still a lack of access to clean water to wash and keep them clean.
