Coastal Restoration

Researchers have found that contrary to popular belief, the California Coastal Act is actually going to raise property value on beachfront properties due to the added protections codified in the act. Rising sea levels and the damming of many major rivers that supply sand to our sandy beaches has caused beaches along the southern California coast to shrink. Consequently, many of the homes built on the coast have had to battle development restrictions in order to preserve the public's right to beach access.
