This NYU/U of Michigan research study of middle-school students found that games that provided the following support for monitoring student progress, were the most helpful for teachers and their students:

  • "dashboards that provide an overview of progress for either individual students or groups of students; 
  • screen captures that can be annotated and serve as a point of communication between students and teachers about learning or progress"

What a fun classroom..all I enjoyed in K-6 was recess and often I didn't get recess due to writing 100 times first "I will not talk during class"..my 3rd grade teacher also told my parents I wouldn't make it to 6th grade..the BS and masters must have been flukes..
