The new social enterprises in Lebanon’s entrepreneurial landscape have not been able to take part in the post-COVID-19 global recovery and accelerated reopening; already severely crippled by limited access to financing and the loss of a sizeable portion of their imports, they also have to contend with the surge in prices of commodities worldwide, making it ever more difficult for them to maintain productivity, much less profitability and job creation.
