V2_ is an interdisciplinary center for art and media technology in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). V2_'s activities include organizing presentations, exhibitions and workshops, research and development of artworks in its own media lab, distributing artworks through its Agency, publishing in the field of art and media technology, and developing an online archive.

Dès lors, Labomedia place son projet d’activités à la croisée des pratiques artistiques, articulé ainsi autour d’un pôle dédié à la création artistique, au développement de projets culturels, à la diffusion, matérialisé par un Laboratoire Multimédia, d’un Espace Numérique tourné vers la découverte des TIC, la formation, l’innovation pédagogique, et d’un Centre de Ressources. Ces dispositifs sont animés d’une même volonté : une appropriation critique des technologies contemporaines au profit d’une expression sensible, d’une production symbolique susceptible de fertiliser un écosystème culturel individuel et collectif.

Culture Lab is the focal point for creative practice at Newcastle University, supporting the work of researchers and students involved in high level, experimental and multi-disciplinary creative arts and interactive technology projects in a world class, cutting edge environment. Our facilities include professional audio and video production studios, high definition cinema projection, motion capture systems, and digital prototyping machinery. Citilab is an experimental centre for the active dissemination of technological culture; a pioneering experience for Europe aiming to demonstrate the reach of innovative and creative capacity from adequately equipped citizens. A citizens’ laboratory in which researchers, entrepreneurs, students and companies interact in a real environment, experiment and collaborate on common projects, sharing what they do and do not know jointly.The final objective of Citilab is to throw into the mix the innovative capacity of people in order for them not to be limited to using technology as a simple tool, rather that they utilize it to improve concrete aspects of their daily lives or in order to transform their city, their environment. Citilab is then, the first digital citizens’ laboratory in the whole of Europe, inspired by many diverse models of innovation.

Ars Electronica Futurelab focuses on the future at the nexus of art, technology and society. We consider our works as sketches of possible future scenarios in art-based, experimental forms. aaaan.net stimulates, initiates and (co)produces work and research at the fringes of art, popular culture and technology. aan focuses on innovative and explorative artistic work that is prompted by social and cultural urgency. aan is not an institute nor does it have its own space, it is a flexible organisation that consists of human hardware. Digital laboratory of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (DigiLab AVU vPraze) is a journalistic, educational and technological centre for information and audiovisual technologies. Since 2001 it has provided its students and employees consultations and necessary support concerning these problems. Simultaneously, DigiLab promotes education of software for accredited fields of study at AVU and participates in the process and creation of educational tutorials, Open source applications (vyuka.avu.cz).
