You are kindly invited to submit your suggestions for the International RethinkArtDigitalFestival, taking place in Rethymno Crete, 9-10-11&12 September 2016.Artists may submit artwork falling into the following categories:

• Animation videos up to 15΄
• Artwork with digital elements

The romanesque paintings of  Sant Climent de Taüll church (declared world heritage site by UNESCO) it’s one of the most important jewels of Catalan Romanesque art and are now presented through an innovative video mapping that recreates the original frescoes in the main apse . The original painting dates from the XII B.C century and they are now preserved in the National Art Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona, MNAC .

Since 55 years ago the church had a copy of the originals painted on plaster surface that was degrading . After removing the old copy a meticulous restoration process was realized which uncovered remains of the original paint that had been preserved in the deep layers of the walls of the apse .

GOLEM is a concept that uses sculpture and video to create an uncanny feeling.

The Mirage Festival invited Arnaud Pottier in The Fine-Arts Museum of Lyon to bring three of their sculptures to life.

Vanishing Point employs perspective as both tool and visual outcome to reshape, redefine and represent a space. Inspired by sketches of Leon Battista Alberti, Leonardo DaVinci and Albrecht Dürer, UVA sends lines into space from an arbitrary vanishing point, creating different volumes, divisions and rooms to be explored by the audience.
