"Most girls are growing up reading fantasy, such as Märchen or fairy tales. they are influenced in many respects and
identifiy their life with those kinds of dream. Aschenputtel/Cinderella is one of the famous tales. in the first part of
the story, she is a sad character, who is always compelled to sacrifice herself for other's sakes. However, her life
has been changed miraculously by just s simple chance, magically receiving wonderful schoes. those schose turn out
be her key to everything like wealth, glory and eventually happy marriage. thus, the story turns to a happy end.

Cinderella symbolizes magical fortune for women. that is to say, an sudden chance can change her life entirely at
a time. People know that this merely is a kind of mirage, however, it exists in many women's sub-consciousness,
therefore they cannot escape from those hopeless desires unconsciously. Moreover, in many cases, it forces them
to pursuit the schadow of the shade, yielding their valuable happiness and precious life to impossible wishes, like
Aschenputtel's sisters, who cut off thire own heels or toes ( in the original story by the Brothers Grimm). Now we
should think over what remains in front of those women's present lives. in some sense, the Cinderella dream dose
not just come from women's false desire but also from community itself; in other words, it is within the contradiction
of our soceity, which suggests various perfect images to women. It is mainly because our society is supported by
both patriarchies and capitalism.' MJS

"The stalks these flowers are already dried up but their blossoms are preserved and kept fresh by the medical infusin
bags. The life-span of every living creature is limited. The infusion bags stand for the progress in medicine and the
prolongation of human life. They somehow carry an ambivalent message as they refer to both death and life an the
same time. Both states are immanent here. To preserve the beauty of the flowers artifically with the help of the
infusion bags points out man's inclination to repress the fact having to die and to postpone death" MJS
