Slide Effect have just released a new version of the software, and it's worth taking a look at this easy and effective presentation creator. You build your slides by adding pictures, shapes and text, then customize background and slide transition. 3D text and special apparition effects are new features that help to make your slides really spectacular. Free trial is available but even a paid version of $39 is not big money if you like the amazing software.
