Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 - Comparison GT-N7100 vs i9300

Samsung's next big event launch that witnessed the successor of Galaxy Note has been unleashed. Samsung has released Galaxy Note 2 in Berlin yesterday during the event - When Magic Moments Come Alive, a teaser video of which was surfaced weeks before the event grew excitement and curiosity among Samsung fans. To some, it was pretty obvious that Samsung would be changing the shape of Galaxy note 2 and making it similar to that of Galaxy S3 i9300 which was released earlier this quarter.

Galaxy Note 2 as released yesterday has amazing upgrades compared to its successor Note. We have already covered the differences between Galaxy note 2 and Note here which clearly shows that Note 2 is indeed the most powerful smartphone ever from Samsung until now. It is powered with a quad core 1.6 ghz processor that gives the throbbing performance. Not just the processor but Galaxy note 2 has better ram and by better we mean twice the amount of ram that Galaxy note has. Galaxy note 2 is power-packed with 2GB Ram that helps running the beast with quad core running.

If you have already used Galaxy note then you must be aware of the functions of S-Pen and how to use to take screen-shots and many other functions when if comes to editing images. The S-pen of Galaxy note 2 has evolved too. You can now run even more operations effectively without having to rely on buttons, for instance, to check the recent apps, all you need to do is to take the s-pen close to the screen while the button is pressed and without you having to actually touch the screen, the recent apps bar will appear. Ineed a smart pen!
To put it in a simple words - Using Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is like using 2 Galaxy Notes at the same time.
Apart from the ram and processor, Samsung has event improved the design of note 2 by making it more curvy and sleek, thanks to the 3100 sleek battery that not just helped Samsung in making the phone slimmer but also in reducing the weight of the device. The battery provides amazing backup with outstanding stand-by mode. With Galaxy note 2 around, Samsung has no worries as there is a competitive advantage to Samsung with Galaxy S3 which is already selling like hot cakes. Consumers loved S3's performance and the center of attention for Galaxy S3 was S-Beam, its amazing design and stunning clarity with super amoled hd screen. S3 users enjoy the what is now known as ideal screen size as compared to galaxy note, the screen size is less yet it renders the same pixels in the 4.8 inch screen. That's amazing.

Major Difference In Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3

Features Galaxy Note 2  Galaxy S 3 Thickness 9.4 mm 8.6 mm Ram 2GB 1GB Sim Tray Normal Micro Sim Card Display 5.5 Inch 4.8 Inch O.S Jelly Bean 4.1x ICS 4.0x S-Pen Yes No CPU Quad Core 1.6 GHz Quad Core 1.4 GHz   Samsung Galaxy note 2 continues the legacy of amazing and powerful smartphones that are being released by Samsung. Galaxy S3 was until now the powerful device that could possibly do anything but had its competition with HTC one x but unfortunately htc could not be a strong competitor for Samsung as galaxy note 2 is here. One of the reasons why people are going for Galaxy S3 is because of the screen size and the sleek design. Samsung Galaxy S3 is indeed a powerful device if you don't compare it with Note 2. The key differences between Galaxy note 2 and S3 has already been pointed out above. There is absolutely no reason to compare these devices as both are from a different league.

Verdict Galaxy Note 2 has bigger screen, so if you are a user who prefers a smartphone with not a huge screen size like note 2 , then S3 is probably your best choice. However, if you are a user who spends a lot of time watching videos or playing games, then galaxy note 2 is going to fulfill your need. Samsung's galaxy note 2 includes all the features of Galaxy S3, so if you are wondering about the features like S-Beam, S-Voice, All Share then hear from us, the device comes equipped with 4.1 Jellybean and includes all the features of S3. Galaxy Note 2 is also advisable for artistic users and designers who can with the help of the multi-functional s-pen draw , edit images and share them with a blink of an eye Images
