Long before Dave Brundage managed the Giants’ Triple-A affiliate Sacramento River Cats to a championship, he was Oregon State’s emergency punter in 1984. Brundage has always looked forward to the Civil War football rivalry with Oregon, especially for a phone call he once cherished and no longer receives.
