Two Georgia Fall Events to Support ALS
Two fun events will benefit the Emory ALS Center in Atlanta this fall. Choose one or both!
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2013: Terance Mathis Celebrity Golf Outing
Join former Atlanta Falcon, Terance Mathis, other NFL stars and local Atlanta celebrities for a fun day of golf at Alpharetta Athletic Club. There will be fun contests and awards for winning teams. Kevin Turner, former Univ. of Alabama and Philadelphia Eagles player, who has ALS, will be the guest speaker at the reception following the round.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2013: 4th Annual Run for Jeremy 5k
Chip timing has been added to the 5k race and there is a 1 Mile Fun Run option for Run for Jeremy this year. This is a family favorite race, honoring ALS patient and former Greenville High School football coach Jeremy Williams. The race is at Harris County High School in Hamilton, GA and is worth the drive from the northside of Atlanta.
