Seeking Lecturers and Subject Matter Experts in the Area of Cultural Anthropology - Online/Remote

Seeking Lecturers and Subject Matter Experts in the Area of Cultural Anthropology - Online/Remote | A New Society, a new education! | Scoop.it
MindEdge is an innovative, educational content provider of online training and courseware to colleges, universities, associations, and corporations.

We feature narrative learning (including simulations, just-in-time scenarios, and case studies) enhanced by technology innovation and a focus on continuous improvement for our content and courses.

We are looking for subject matter experts in the area of cultural anthropology to write instructional content *or* record brief (3 - 5 minute) lectures on video in our studio.

Applicants must have taught several survey courses over the last few years and be familiar with how cultural anthropology is generally taught in a survey course to freshmen in universities and community colleges. Ideal candidates will be able to explain complex topics to students with very basic college preparation and short attention spans without resorting to unnecessary jargon or academic-speak.

Video lecturers will be paid $100/hour for studio time and $50/hour for an agreed-upon amount of prep time. Lecturers will need to conduct an interview by facetime, skype, or google hangout and should appear comfortable on screen. Candidates local to the Boston area are preferred, though we may fly the right person to record in our Boston studio.

Writers will be paid $40 - 50/hour, depending on qualifications.
