Change management consulting- Developing change | #Behavior #Character #Empathy #Values #DigitalSkills | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it

Behavior changes in people doesn't just happen from one day to the next. Changes in this area takes time - and often, the motto: "You can´t teach an old dog new tricks" applies. Nevertheless - the situation is not hopeless and people are capable of change and are often willing to do so. You are likely to achieve the desired success, if you consider the following four "change levers":

Attitude & Motivation

Knowledge & Skills

Structures & Processes

Role Models & Culture

Social Physics | MIT | A new way of understanding human behavior based on analysis of Big Data | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it

For latest news and events see: MIT Connection Science:

http://connection.mit.edu/

How can we create organizations and governments that are cooperative, productive, and creative? These are the questions of social physics, and they are especially important right now, because of global competition, environmental challenges, and government failure.

The engine that drives social physics is big data: the newly ubiquitous digital data that is becoming available about all aspects of human life. By using these data to build a predictive, computational theory of human behavior we can hope to engineer better social systems.

Are You A Thoughtless, Inconsiderate Jerk Of A Person? Here's How To Tell. | 21st Century Learning and Teaching | Scoop.it
Are you kind of a jerk? Don't worry, this is a safe place, you can be honest.

Just remeber, these are everyday behaviors that you should consider not to be rewarded or praised by others, but because being considerate of other human beings is the right thing to do, plain and simple.

===> You know it, and acting like it will make you feel better about yourself. <===

===> Now, go clean up your dog's poop. <===

Online Systems for Behavior Change

Online Systems for Behavior Change

I've always believe that to truly have impact on performance, we need to be experts at Behavior Change. I've written a few times over the years on aspects of solutions that ultimately drive a change in behavior that leads to performance improvement. I'm now working on an very interesting project that is designed to lead to some important changes in behavior that has already had dramatic impacts. But we want to push for more, so ultimately this post is asking for help, please comment or tweet (add @tonykarrer) on:

What online systems have you seen that ultimately drive behavior change?

What do these systems do that leads to behavior change?

Read more, very interesting...:
