Chalk up another crime solved to modern forensics.
Ancient documents say that in 1155BC members of his harem attempted to kill him as part of a palace coup but it was never clear whether the assassination was successful. Some say it was, while other accounts at the time imply the ancient Pharaoh survived the attack, at least for a short while. Scans of Ramesses III revealed a deep, 2.7 inch (7cm) wide wound to the throat just under the larynx. Medical scientists say it was probably caused by a sharp blade and could have caused immediate death.

It is unsure whether the assasination was sucsessful immediately. They say he may have survived for a short while.

According to this article, he had a deep wide wound to the throat. I think that the Ancient Egyptian King was assassinated/ slit on the throat by a royal coup.

NASA used satellites to discover and uncover Egyptian pyramids. They found a total of 17 pyramids and within them was what was found to be the most incredible! It was reported that about 1,000 (and more) tombs along with 3,000 settlements were located using concentrated technology! Coooooooooooooool!!!! |
