Eine sehr schöne Landschaft, mit viel grün und bunten Blumen, diversen schöne Stellen um alleine oder gemeinsam zu relaxen. Nach meinem Empfinden befindet sich die schönste Stelle von Devins Eye auf einen Hügel mitten in einen wunderschönen blühenden Garten in Form eines mediterran angehauchten Häuschen.

Gut eine Woche ist es nun her das Roy, Ally und Alienmaus die Region Devin wieder eröffnet haben.
Die alte Homestead hatte Roy von einem Estate Owner gemietet, der Anfang Mai 2018 den Zugang zur Sim sperrte. Der Estate Owner hatte ihn einfach gebannt. Alle Versuche, den Estate Owner zu kontaktieren, sind dann fehlgeschlagen. Die Region ist auch heute noch da, aber Roy kann nicht mehr hinkommen (Quelle: Echt Virtuell).
Am 7. Mai hat er dann im SL Forum den Thread Hope for Devin gestartet und Linden Lab darum gebeten, irgendwie zu helfen.
Leider war diese Aktion erfolglos, LL wollte oder konnte nichts machen.

Roy Mildor hat heute seine Region "Devins Eye" eröffnet. Darauf befinden sich zwei simgroße Landschaften, lediglich betitelt mit "Devin 1" auf dem Simboden und "Devin 2" auf einer Plattform in knapp 3.000 Meter HöheZu Devin 2 hatte ich vor anderthalb Jahren schon einmal einen Simtipp geschrieben. Jedoch war das damals nicht auf der Region, die heute eröffnet wurde, sondern auf einer anderen Homestead.

I could have taken so many photos at this destination. From the duck ponds, up to the French country styled area, flowing with purple lavender and grapevines. Down to the boat dock and lighthouse area with plenty of places to sit and ponder the world.

Heute war ich nur auf dem Simboden, auf dem es ein Frühlingsupdate der bisherigen Landschaft gegeben hat. Außerdem wurden auch mehrere Gebäude ausgetauscht und das Terraforming etwas verändert. Wer Devin's Eye in diesem Jahr noch nicht besucht hat, wird auf jeden Fall viel Neues zu erkunden haben.

Das Markenzeichen von Lam Erins Winterlandschaften ist schon seit Jahren ein roter Weihnachts‑Truck mit Tannenbaum von Scholes Devin (Pro Street Cars). Immer wenn ich diesen Truck auf einem Flickr-Foto sehe, denke ich sofort an Cherishville. Deshalb gibt es jetzt auch von mir das Klassikerfoto.

Using the region windlight, I had fun taking pictures at Devin's Eye. It seemed like things were set up for picture taking--it was easy to frame the shots. The first thing I saw was a crashed abandoned plane, but I did not see any survivors in the half hour that I was there.

Die wunderschöne Region "Devin" ist wegen Probleme mit dem Landlord leider ohne Wissen der Owner (Roy Mildor, Ally Daysleeper and Alienmaus Allen) verschwunden. Deswegen läuft derzeit die im Titel genannte Aktion um die Sim zu retten, bzw das Linden Lab eine Wiederherstellung erwirkt.
