My opinion on the content of this article is that this is a very big deal for anyone with a company sucks Spotify or has the mindset of start a company like it because Spotify saw subscriber numbers grow overall, with its total number of premium subscribers growing by 9 percent to 108 million compared to the last quarter, and monthly active users growing to 232 million, an increase of 7 percent that The Wall Street Journal notes exceeded expectations in the music industry. My comments on the reliability of the source are that I feel this is an credible source for information pertaining this matter because people with jobs in this industry go to sources like Scoop-It’s for competitors success as well as their own. I believe the source is a major informational resource for audio industry professionals because this is part of the information most companies used to determine better marketing strategies similar to what Spotify is using.
