Electric Guest is an LA based duo composed of Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton. They worked with genius producer Danger Mouse on their melancholy indie pop tracks (Gorillaz, Beck, U2, The Rapture...) on their first album Mondo released in april 2012.

Robin established himself as one of the most respected singer-songwriters in soul and R&B music today.

The year 2007 concluded with the VH1 Soul/Vibe award for “Best Breakthrough Artist” and nominations from BET (“Best Male R&B” and “Viewer’s Choice”), Soul Train (“Best R&B Soul Album, Male”), MTV VMA (“Male Artist of the Year”), MOBO (Best Song, “Lost Without U”), the American Music Awards (“Favorite Breakthrough Artist”) and was named ASCAP’s (Song of the Year, “Lost Without You”).

Robin’s fifth studio album, Love After War was released last December. This is Thicke at his most raw and honest condition yet. This was an album born out of a desire to be the uncompromising, idealistic artist he was as a boy, married with the weight of being a man with responsibilities and the scars of the past.

Talk That Talk, the sixth album of Rihanna, is released November 21, 2011. The album could be described as a condensate of her last two albums, Rated R (2009) and Loud (2010) alternating tracks oriented electro, pop and R & B. There are two collaborations on this record, Calvin Harris on We Found Love and Jay-Z on Talk That Talk. 
On September 22, 2011, while the song Cheers (Drink to That) is just launched as the sixth single from the album Loud, Rihanna released We Found Love, the first single from Talk That Talk.
You Da One, second single of the album is released November 11 2011 and the video December 23, 2011.

Cloud Control are an alternative rock band originating from the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia. The band is currently signed to the Australian label Ivy League Records, in which they released their debut album Bliss Release, and to Infectious Music in the UK/Europe. The band has supported a host of local and international acts, including Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Supergrass, The Magic Numbers, Yves Klein Blue, The Temper Trap, Last Dinosaurs and Local Natives.
They have been nominated for a clutch of awards in Australia, including 2 ARIA awards. Most recently, the band was nominated for the Australian Music Prize, which they subsequently won on 3 March 2011.

Rye Rye is the stage name of Ryeisha Berrain, a 20-year-old American rapper and dancer from Baltimore, Maryland, United States signed to N.E.E.T. Recordings. She is currently finishing work on her debut album, Go! Pop! Bang!, slated to be released some time in 2012.

Adam Kesher is a group of six French boys.
They're trying to put some urgency in pop music, to merge the spirit of rock'n'roll and the dynamics of electro. Since 2004, they organized the deviant marriage between synthetic pulses of his feverish keyboards and rumbling of their guitars.
Adam Kesher is also familiar to the rock in the DFA and the juvenile French Touch, as Electric Venom Velvet Underground.
This is the ideal music to dance like a madman until dawn with the decline of the West in mind, then take your car and drive to the ocean with your lover.

“Most of the best music ever made came out of Detroit,” claims the singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, who counts Isaac Hayes, Leroy Hutson, Mike Terry, and Barry White among his influences, but draws the most inspiration from the music of Smokey Robinson, Curtis Mayfield, and the legendary songwriting and production trio of Lamont Dozier, Brian Holland, and Eddie Holland Jr.

The “retro” tag is added to almost any contemporary work that sounds like it was originally recorded between 1966 and 1974, and Hawthorne, among the newest contributors to the genre, is aware of how trends come and go.

The four members of C2C met in highschool during their teenage years, and soon started developing their own unique performing style.

Aside from their adventures within C2C, the four members have been very active on the French musical scene. DJ 20Syl and DJ Greem founded Hocus Pocus, signed by Motown and widely considered to be one the classiest and most accomplished hip-hop acts in the world. DJ Atom and DJ Pfel created Beat Torrent, one of the most popular formations on the dynamic French electro-pop scene. Collectively, they can boast more than a thousand live performances. They never stopped working together, featuring on each other’s albums, but 2011 is the year when they finally reunited to produce the band’s first album.

C2C’s first EP was released at the end of 2011. The album is scheduled for early 2012. 

Little Dragon are a Swedish electronic band, formed in Gothenburg in 1996. It consists of Swedish-Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion) and her close high school friends Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrik Källgren Wallin (bass) and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards).

Little Dragon's first release was the double A-side 7" single "Twice"/"Test", released on the Off the Wall label in 2006. The following year, the band signed with the larger British indie label Peacefrog Records and released their self-titled debut album Little Dragon on 27 August 2007.[3] Their second album, Machine Dreams, was released on 17 August 2009, followed by their third album, Ritual Union, released on 25 July 2011.

Michael Kiwanuka is a British soul musician of Ugandan heritage who is signed to Communion Records. He has been compared to Bill Withers and Otis Redding, as well as Van Morrison and the Temptations. On 6 January 2012, the BBC announced that he had won the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll

Django Django is a promissed Scottish brotherhood of 4 discrete young men exile in London. As strange and unique as their name, their music signature is a distillation of folk, electro and percussion.

Soulya is a pop-soul duo combining programming and acoustic instruments, influenced by black-music and Oriental spirituality. The group will realease their first EP entitled "a-maze-in." Both soul, world, reggae, hip-hop, jazz, rock, urban hippie they offer a unique, uninhibited and unclassifiable kind of music. Each song takes us into a world that is spiritual and mundane, serious and messing around, pioneer and referenced.

Jermaine Lamarr Cole (born January 28, 1985), better known by his stage name J. Cole, is an American rapper, singer and record producer. In 2009, he was the first artist signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. His long-awaited debut album titled Cole World: The Sideline Story was released on September 27, 2011. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, Top R&B Albums and Top Rap Albums chart, selling more than 430,000 in its first week sales. He received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 54th Grammy Awards to be held on February 12, 2012.

Polly Jean Harvey (born 9 October 1969) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, composer.

Harvey has been noted to dislike repeating herself in her music, resulting in very different-sounding albums. She has experimented with such musical styles as rock, pop, electronica, and folk. She is also known for changing her appearance from album to album by altering her mode of dress or hairstyle.

She has received the 2001 and 2011 Mercury Prize for Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea (2000) and Let England Shake(2011) respectively—the only artist to have been awarded the prize twice—seven BRIT Award nominations, six Grammy Award nominations and two further Mercury Prize nominations. Rolling Stone awarded her 1992′s Best New Artist and Best Singer Songwriter and 1995′s Artist of the Year, and listed Rid of Me and To Bring You My Love (1995) on its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list. In 2011, she was awarded for Outstanding Contribution To Music at the NME Awards. 

Singer and songwriter Syd Matters was born Jonathan Morali on April 14, 1973, in Paris, France. Drawn to the arts as a child, he studied music at Sarah Lawrence College and began to play local gigs, eventually signing a recording contract with Third Side Records. Developing an atmospheric folk-pop style that featured acoustic settings combined with electronica-influenced touches that sounded a bit like a hybrid between Nick Drake and Radiohead.
